Prices left an overhead gap on the chart at the regular session opening this morning, but that gap was filled quickly when the new home sales report was released at 9 AM CST. Normally that report is rather docile, but this morning it sent prices quickly higher. It will be interesting to see if prices can hold those increases, or if they will work their way back to where they started again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, the trend and bias are both up, but that could change as the day progresses. I would also expect mixed trading at times today no matter how the day plays out. Stay with the uptrend until the chart shows us otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
