The volume remains a bit low again this morning, and prices are mostly sideways. Prices have been mixed and sideways throughout this trading session, and they are testing the overnight lows as I am typing this up. If those lows hold and prices turn up again, expect the range to hold for a bit unless prices break higher on a test of the highs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices actually just broke lower, so we will have to see if this breakout creates a low for the day or if we will see more of a correction today. Most breakouts will fail, even if only momentarily, so we will need to see how this plays out. Remember too, many failed breakouts create important highs\/lows for the day, so this might create a low for the day. We will not really know until this all plays out but watch for those possibilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If prices continue to trend lower, we could see a measured move down based on the width of the original range. There is no gap on the chart today, although prices may attempt to fill the gap from yesterday, and that gap is way down at 7498.50. That seems like a stretch, but anything is possible, so never rule it out completely. A measured moved down based on the width of the range is down at 7592.50. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
