After discussing my recent issue with lag in yesterday’s video, I got a plethora of emails indicating that it is a “time sync” issue, and nothing more. I thought I would share this with everyone so that you can be aware of it and what the fix is if you are having lag issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that it also helps to occasionally delete your indicators and re-add them. That was one of my problems, as I had noticed my price line and bid\/ask lines that are added through the BPX Mack app were not working properly. Simply deleting the app and readding fixed the issue. Another thing to check in your indicators is to be sure that the app updates at the “On bar Close” and not “after each tick.” By making sure you update less often, you reduce the workload on your processor and memory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like the simplify your ability to sync your clock each day (I would sync it daily to be sure you have no lag), you can also download this mini-app<\/a> and install it, and it will place an icon in your hidden apps folder on your task bar in windows. You can then just quickly open that app and hit time sync and do it in seconds rather than having to go into your computer settings each time. I downloaded the app and ran my anti-virus on it, and it is safe and free to use. You can donate to the developer if you like, but the download and use is essentially free. That was the fix for the large time lag! Thanks for all of the tips and suggestions, as the charts are moving flawlessly and with no lag now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now to the morning chart. After an early two-legs down during the overnight session, prices have now rallied this morning. This could end up as a range day, but for now, prices are testing the early highs, and they could end up continuing higher, or even turning back down from here. I would call the bias up for now, but it could be changing to sideways or even down, so be careful with the mixed trading and be patient as we wait see how the price action plays out from here, as it could go either way or even sideways for a bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
