I am a few minutes late with this due to the crazy move that happened just as I was about to post this. I wanted to wait until that was over to see what happens. As usual though, the market took the majority of the sell off back in a few minutes, so we will have to see what happens from here. I have not even had time to look and see what caused the move, as there is no scheduled news item this morning. Trump must have said something or something happened with Iran maybe, but I will go look and see what is being said after posting this daily report. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trade carefully, as the market is obviously jittery and something is going on to make a move like that in only a few second. Again, the market has taken most of it back, so now that they likely cleaned out all of the shorts, we could end up closing higher today. Just follow the price action and always keep tight stops so if a move like this does happen, you are out quickly and not affected other than a possible small loss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a good learning example of why we keep tight stops and why we insist you never trade without one. You always place your safety stop one tick above\/below your signal bar. These type moves are not common, but they do happen, and following our rules protects you from this type of action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
