This was a short trade while looking for prices to fill the gap on the daily chart. I entered on a failed second entry long.
This trade was a failed break lower in an uptrend and it was also the first convincing close outside of the trend line, so I was looking for a reason to get long again. This gave me the opportunity to get long on a failed break lower out of the tight range that had formed.
This was a live trade taken on Friday 04-09-2021. This was a higher low long entry off of the green range support. Notice how prices bounced there multiple times, but more importantly, there was a failed break lower just prior to this higher low.
