This is a live trade I took on Wednesday 11-13-2025. There are a couple of learning opportunities here. One is to make sure you don’t have distractions, and two shows you how runners can really change your math. In this trade, I use my original profits to try and get a runner. While I exit the runner with three points on 5 contracts, I could have gotten a lot more, but the goal was to show you a runner and keep the video from being an hour long as well.
Note too how I didn’t rush to take the 2nd entry when prices were not back to my expected target, the trendline. Patience is key, and while the 2nd entry might have worked, I was rather confident prices were not done working higher yet, so I was patient and waited for them to reach my target, and then I started looking for an entry or setup.
Most inexperienced traders are looking for entries on every swing. If you want to become a successful trader that makes money, you have to learn to understand price movements and how to find price targets and then use that knowledge to help you find your entries. It’s all about location and timing, and that takes knowledge and experience! Enjoy the trade and learn from it.
