Prices are rallying again this morning. The overnight uptrend has actually played out now, but rather than correcting, prices are only working sideways so far. That does not mean that prices cannot or will not turn lower at some point, but as of now, prices are sideways to mildly up. There is a gap on the chart, and if prices attempt to fill that gap, that target is down at 6085.75.
I would expect more mixed trading today, no matter how the day plays out overall. There is still room to go higher, but a correction is not out of the realm of possibilities either. Follow the price action and allow it to show you what it wants to do, and you attempt to go with it. Do not force trades and stay disciplined, as that is the key to trading this type of price action. If you don’t see a trade, do not enter or force a bad one. Taking no trade(s) is better than a losing trade.
I will probably be leaving the office early today, so I will not be answering any new emails until Monday most likely. My mom contracted the flu and is having a very hard time with it. The assisted living place took her to the emergency room last night and she was admitted to the ICU with Pneumonia. They said her blood sugar was extremely high as well, so that was a concern as well. I will be leaving the office to tend to her today and probably most of the weekend until she gets out of the hospital. I would appreciate any prayers for her to have improved health and a quick recovery. Thanks!
