Mack’s Mid-Morning ES Price Action Chart 12-13-2023

The volume is very low this morning and prices are basically just moving sideways. Today is an FOMC announcement day, so things are likely to stay quiet going into that news announcement. Be sure to be flat an hour prior to the news that comes out at 1 PM CST. Once things settle down after the announcement, you can start trading again.

We could still see some movement prior to Noon, but often times it does not hurt to just take the day off on these days, as they can be flat early on and then completely crazy afterwards. Never be afraid to take a trading day off, as another will be here tomorrow. For now, things are flat and mixed with little movement.
