Unfortunately, my area was devastated by the recent winter storm that came across the Southern states. We have no power and temperatures are in the single digits here. This is very rare for us in the South, so we are not equipped for it. It looks like a war zone here with the downed trees and power lines. I won’t be able to post any charts or anything until we can get power restored.

They say that power restoration could takes days to weeks in some cases. I’m hoping I’m on the short end of that time frame, but I honestly have no idea. Right now, I’m working on getting alternative heat in some of my properties before more damage is done. Water and pipes will begin freezing if they haven’t already done so.

Several of my properties are buried beneath the downed trees, so getting those trees off of them will be next. If you have friends or family in this line of destruction, please pray that things will warm up soon, as the damages will continue to mount until temps get above freezing again. People that rely on medical equipment and oxygen are in serious trouble. Even getting to some areas is challenging with the frozen roads and downed trees.

We are just not prepared or accustomed to this kind of weather in the South. Hopefully the power will be restored soon and as soon as the power is restored at my office I will resume mid-morning charts and daily chart lessons at that time. The good thing is my office is near a major business area and the regional hospital, so that area takes precedence for power restoration. Hopefully I will at least have power at my office soon. Once I have power there, I will make sure I at least get out a mid-morning report and a daily chart lesson on YouTube. In the interim, your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

I am posting this on my cell phone, so if there are spelling errors or weird looks to it, that’s why. For now, my phone is my only access to the internet, and without power, I am charging where I can in my vehicle.

Good trades everyone!

Mack
