There will be no mid-morning chart today. After seeing my plastic surgeon on Wednesday, he wanted to do the surgery first thing today, so I am probably recovering from surgery about the time you will read this post. I was surprised that he wanted to do the surgery so quickly, but also relieved that I will be moving forward and getting this issue behind me.
If all goes well, I plan to be back in the office on Friday. If so, and I am feeling good, I will also do a chart lesson on Friday since I have been out so much lately. Hopefully I will see you on Friday, but if not, certainly on Monday morning. Thanks for your patience as I get this issue behind me once and for all.
If you are new or not aware, I had some skin cancer removed from my ear about two weeks ago. They had to take more of my ear than originally expected, so I am having some reconstructive surgery to make my ear look normal again. While it is a pain for me, I do feel blessed that they could easily remove my cancer and that I am currently cancer free. Some are not so lucky, so I am looking at this in a positive way, knowing that I was blessed to catch my issues early on.
