Hopefully you saw my Friday post on the issue with our News Guard not updating properly all of the time. It has to do with the data provider and not the indicator. The data provider is limiting our ability to download the data.
I am testing a new indicator designed specifically for us, but the data comes from the same location, and there was no news today, so I cannot verify if it worked properly today or not. I will continue to test it and when I feel confident it is good, I will send it out. For now, just wait a few minutes after loading your chart, then right click on the chart and choose “Reload NinjaScript” and the news should appear on your chart. Even once I send out my new indicator, you may still have to wait a few minutes after loading your chart and then hit the “Reload NinjaScript” option, as there is no work around as long as the data provider limits how many times you can reach the site in a 5 min time frame.
The market is very quiet this morning and there are no big news items to change anything or create any volatility. As of now, this looks to be a possible range day. Prices filled the overhead gap and instantly turned lower and are trending lower as I am typing. Respect the lows of the overnight session until they prove they are no longer in play. If they hold, this could be a range day, and if not, then we could see a down trending day today.
Overall, things could go any way before the day is over, but for now, I would call the trend and bias slightly down to mixed.
