This market is absolutely in turmoil at the moment. It’s what I would call an emotionally driven market, so it can be very dangerous to even trade it on a small account. If you are new to trading live, I would suggest you switch to the simulator and only sim trade now, as you could get yourself into a lot of trouble if you aren’t a very skilled chart reader and trader. When traders are trading on emotion, particularly fear and the unknown, crazy things can and will happen.

The market is super bearish, but also super oversold, so rallies can pop up at any moment, and as you saw already this morning, these rallies can take off rapidly in the opposite direction and even go parabolic, only to turn on a dime and take it all back again in moments. Just trade very carefully if trading live. For now, I would call the overall tone of this market as simply “emotional.” It has been bullish, bearish and mixed already and it is not even 10 AM CST yet. I would expect more of the same today to be perfectly honest.

This morning was a perfect example of what I have been saying about strong rallies. The market rallied over 400 points in 30 minutes. That might be an all-time record, although I am not sure. I just don’t remember it ever making a move like that in my trading time. The market appears to be trending higher again now, and it’s possible we could see a measured leg up. That seems unlikely, but I’ve seen these measured moves do the unlikely many times, so just keep that in the back of your mind as a possibility.

I am going to post multiple charts in an effort to give you a wide view and a closer view of the current price action.

Hi Mack, Thanks for the input. “There is no chance for the paint to get dry.”
