Things are mostly mixed and sideways so far today. Prices opened higher at 8:30 AM CST, leaving another gap on the chart this morning. Prices have attempted to fill that gap but have not quiet done so just yet. We could see another bounce once that gap is filled, but prices could continue lower or even just remain mixed.
There has been a lot of selling the last few days, so some consolidation today would not be out of the question. The target for filling the gap is 6552.00. Prices actually just filled the gap as I am typing this up, so we will see where they go from here. Stay flexible and go with the price action. At the moment, I would call the bias as mixed to down.
On a personal note, I am a proud new Grandfather of a 10 lb, 2 oz baby boy. Unfortunately, he has a heart issue in which the vessel from his heart to his lungs is either kinked or restricted, so he will have to have surgery quickly to repair that. He is currently in the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL, so I will be leaving today to go over there.
I expect that I will be back on Sunday evening, so business as usual on Monday if so, but if there are any complications or problems, this could linger on, and I may be taking a few workdays off next week. If you are the praying type, please pray for my new grandson for healing and good health. This appears to be a common issue and not a long-term problem if caught early like it was with him.

He is a big baby and I know you are blessed to have him. He and his parents and grandparents have our prayers and our continued best wishes for his total recovery. We were just blessed with a great grand daughter and know how special each of them can be. Congratulations to your growing family.
